Questions people ask first
Do I need a consultation call?
For starter locs, loc extensions and take-downs, yes. It takes about 20 minutes and happens before the day is booked. Retwists and tidies can be booked directly.
How long will my visit take?
Every service on the menu shows its time. Starter locs and take-downs can take half a day or more, so plan your day around them.
Do you work on locs started elsewhere?
Yes. Tell us how they were started and how they've been kept, and we'll look at them at your visit.
How often should I get a retwist?
Most people come back every four to eight weeks. We agree a rhythm with you, and a maintenance plan can book the visits ahead.
How does a deposit work?
Starter locs, loc extensions and take-downs take a deposit that holds your time and goes toward your service. The amount shows when you book.
What if I need to cancel or I'm running late?
Please give 48 hours' notice to move a visit, and 72 hours for a starter set or a take-down. If you're running late, call or text and we'll fit in what the time allows, or move you.
Do you do a patch test?
Locs don't usually need one. If a product on your visit calls for one, we tell you when you book.
Can I bring a child or a friend?
Children are welcome for their own appointment. One guest can wait with you, so the room stays calm.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the number and size of your locs, the method and the time it takes. It shows on the booking page, and a quote comes before a starter set.
How do I look after my locs between visits?
A slow wash on a rhythm, dry them through and cover them at night. We'll tailor the rest to your locs.
