How pricing works
We don't print prices on this site. They depend on your locs, and they show on the booking page.
What decides the price
Your price comes from how many locs you have, how long and thick they are, the method and the hours the visit takes. A quote comes before a starter set, and the booking page shows the studio's prices.

What the consultation covers
The consultation call is where we agree the method, the number of locs and a time estimate. Starter locs, loc extensions and take-downs all begin with one. A written quote follows the call and arrives before the day. The booking page says whether the call is credited toward your starter locs.
Starter locs, loc extensions and take-downs take a deposit that holds your time and goes toward your service. The amount shows when you book.
Canceling or running late
We ask for 48 hours' notice to move a visit, and 72 hours for a starter set or a take-down. On a plan, a moved visit keeps its place in the sequence.
Dorine takes consultations, starter locs and first visits. Emory, our apprentice, takes retwists, tidies and styling at an apprentice's level. The booking page shows who does each service and what sets the price.
Add-ons and changes on the day
A style after your retwist, a scalp-care step or a trim is agreed with you first. Nothing is added to your visit without asking.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. They go to whoever did your hair.
